Tarique Rahman stands by families of martyrs, injured of student led uprising in Gazipur

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has stood beside the families of martyrs and injured of the student-led uprising in the district by providing financial assistance to them. 

On behalf of Tarique Rahman, a delegation of Amra BNP Paribar Cell today met the families of the martyrs and injured people here extended sympathy and provided financial assistance to them.

The delegation led by Amra BNP Paribar Convener journalist Atiqur Rahman Rumon met the families of Shaheed Rastum Mia, Shaheed Abdullah, Shaheed Ariful Islam and Shaheed Ilim Hossain and the family of Anwar, who lost his eye and conveyed sympathy on behalf of Tarique Rahman to them.

Later, they handed over a cheque for financial grants to the families at a function in Kaliakair Upazila’s Mouchak Police Outpost area here.

Amra BNP Paribar Adviser Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Member Secretary Agriculturist Md Moksedul Momin (Mithun) and members Masud Rana Liton and Mustaqeem Billah, and Chhatra Dal leaders Shariful Islam and Rubel Parvez were present on the occasion.

Former General Secretary of Gazipur District Jubo Dal Advocate Rafiq, Joint Convener Nazmul, Gazipur District Chhatra Dal Vice President Raihan Sarkar, President of Mouchak Union BNP Advocate Kamrul and General Secretary of Mouchak Union Chhatra Dal Rasel Dipu were also present at the event, among others.
