The government has introduced two Hajj travel packages for 2025 intending to make the pilgrimage more affordable with the minimum cost for the Standard Package-1 under the government plan set at Tk 478,242.
Religious Affairs Advisor AFM Khalid Hossain announced the packages at a press briefing on Wednesday.
Compared to 2024, pilgrims opting for the government package for Hajj next year will be able to save over Tk 100,500. Meanwhile, the second package under government management will cost Tk 575,680 per person. There will be no special Hajj package next year.
In 2024, the standard government Hajj package was priced at Tk 578,840, while the special package cost Tk 936,320.
However, pilgrims can pay an additional fee to avail of short-stay packages, as well as 2, 3, or 4-bedrooms in houses or hotels in Makkah and Madinah, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
