Three youths have died as their motorcycle lost traction and collided with a tree in Tongibari Upazila of Munshiganj.
The accident occurred at the Sipahipara-Dighirpar road of the Upazila around 9pm on Thursday, said Tongibari Police chief Mohammad Monirul Haque.
The dead were identified as Hossain Mohammad Shakib, 27, Md Saniat, 29, and Turjoy Majhi, 28, all residents of Yashlong.
Shakib and Saniat died on the spot, while Turjoy later died at Munshiganj General Hospital.
Officer Monirul said the bodies were sent to the morgue at Munshiganj General Hospital. Legal action regarding the accident is in process.
