Local Government, Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said the government is planning to announce the July declaration on August 5 if the political parties reach consensus.

"Work is going on July declaration", he told journalists after a view-exchange meeting organized on the occasion of new building inauguration of Cumilla district Lawyers Association on Friday.

Earlier, the government has taken suggestions from the political parties and they have submitted declaration copies to the government like their own, he said.

Now the work is going on, he said, adding that the government is trying to announce the declaration on August 5 and the political parties need to come in a consensus for this reason.

"We hope that the July declaration would be possible to read on August 5 after the political consensus", he said.

Earlier, the LGRD adviser attended the view exchange meeting of the lawyers Association as the chief guest.

The adviser also attended as the chief guest at a program on 'Smritir Minar', first resistance day of student-people on July 11 at Cumilla university on Friday afternoon.
